15 months

There are lots of things to remember from when you were 15 months... here are just a few :) Along with some pictures.

:: "How big is Eliza?" - "Sooooooooo big!" ::



:: "Eliza where are the flowers? Can you find the flower?" ::

- whenever I have your meals ready I come in and ask you if you're ready to eat, you immediately stop whatever you are doing and come hauling in ready to get in your chair :)

- you are still making your surprised "ooooo!" face to get a reaction out of us

- today I came downstairs more dressed up than usual as I was going out and when you saw me you made your "ooo" face and said ohhh! to go along with it, apparently you're not used to seeing me look so nice ;)

:: Oh, ya know, just a baby girl all alone on a path ;) ::


- you can go down a slide all by yourself! you've been able to do that for a couple months now, but about a week ago you learned to climb the playground all the way up to the slide and then come down!

:: "Where are the flowers???" ::

- you started saying a lot of new words, including Mama, on Mother's Day :)

:: Blowing bubbles or "bubbo" ::




- other words are: turtle, wuss dat, bubbo, daddy, boppa, a word that means grandma but I can't quite even pinpoint how you say it!

- you have such long hair now that I can put it up in a pony tail and braids. It's SO cute!

- you love Cassie and when I ask if you want to go find her you start looking around to see where she is. If you don't see her you take my hand and pull me toward their house.

:: "Eliza look at me, I want to take your picture." and this is what I got ;) ::

- you got blanky bear from Auntie and took to her right away. You don't love her as much as Eleanor but she is a good friend nonetheless ;)

The Month of May

May came along along with beautiful weather! We jumped right into summer around here. Loving all the outside time and opportunities to don a bathing suit :)

1. We visited Molly and had pancakes! Eliza approves of anything that requires dipping :) Dip Dip Dip!

2. Just one of the many days we enjoyed outside. Eliza got her first scraped knee :( I cried a little inside. More than she did on the outside O.o



3. A Now and Then shot from a visit to Charlotte :)

4. This was her first visit to the lake this year. It was SO cold but she was NOT deterred from pulling away from us to lunge at the water. It was all we could do to keep her from running straight in!

5. Our church had a Mother's Day Tea. It was delightful! I love my Mama and I am so blessed to have such a special lady to call as my own :)

9. My squash plants sprouted! I was so afraid I had ruined the first batch of seeds by over-watering... so I planted more seeds. Then they ALL sprouted! I also planted ALL of the plants... which has resulted in a copious (yet delicious) amount of summer squash!



10. The Lilac Festival was unseasonably cold this year... and Eliza happened to have a cold that day :/ But she was happy enough in her Baby K'tan with Eleanor tucked in tight too :)

11. Lilies from Mother's Day :) They were such a perfect complimentary color to the walls in the living room.

12. Our first trip to the Seneca Park Zoo! Eliza loved it and we have visited a lot since then!

13. For our anniversary, Steve and I went to Toronto. We really wanted to go to IKEA :) So after we did that and got a bunch of things for redecorating our bedroom, we took a walk around town. We ended the day at a nice restaurant enjoying each others company :)



14. This Slinky just cracked me up and was too sad not to document. It was a good life for that Slinky before it got run over... poor Slinky :(

15. This is what happens when baby girls eat dandelion fluff ;) Too presh!

16. Again, she's in the baby K'tan... she was sleeping when we got out of the car so I popped her in and she was very happy to stay close to Mama and away from everyone else... LOL.

17. Splishing and splashing in her baby pool :)

18. Battening down the hatches on her house because it was about to rain ;)



19. Baby's first corn on the cob. She loved it! I was amazed at how well she did with it too :)

20. No words necessary... just precious :)

21. My garden all ready to be planted! I LOVE my garden!!!



22. Nomming on blueberries... or "booeys" as they soon hereafter became known as :)

23. Chasing the kite other kids were flying on the beach.

24. A beautiful array of peonies and irises my Mom brought me one morning! What a treat!
