baby's first baseball game

We had tickets to a Red Wings game months ago when the season had first began, but it rained and we ended up just going this last friday. I prepared to this by making sure she had a tiny Yankees tee that I gave Steve for Christmas... I also made sure she had a baseball nuk. These things are important. They posed for basically the cutest baby and daddy baseball picture ever on opening day for the Yankees right here.

She was about 3 months here, but her first game was on her 7 month birthday!

She was busy looking and watching all the people and she seemed to have a great time. You can see her leaning and reaching in the bottom right pic above, she was trying to grab the girl's hair who was sitting in front of us lol.

Cotton candy is basically essential at baseball games. Practically your basic food group. She definitely ate some. I wasn't going to let her, but she kind of grabbed it and got it in her mouth before either of us could stop her. I will get used to it... lol.

At the end there were fireworks. I'm still not sure what she thought about it. I got really nervous thinking we had made a mistake waiting to watch them. I was afraid she would freak out and we really had no way to get away from them. It would have taken so long to leave and get to the car had she had a meltdown so once they started i just covered her ears and we went with it. She seemed completely fascinated and totally terrified at the same time. Her eyes were huge and she would shriek occasionally but she gave NO smiles. Not a one. And her little heart was beating so fast. So, I'm still not sure what she thought!
