Do you know, my little girlie girl, that we had our fifth or sixth sleepover on your five-month birthday? It was such a fun time! I'm always worn out when I'm finished with one of our overnights. I know why God made it so most mommies are young when they have babies!
It's so much fun! I wouldn't trade time with you for anything! I don't mind being tired out. It is such a blessing to spend that precious time with you. You are such a gift! Shortly after I put you in your little bed upstairs this evening, I was sitting on the porch swing talking with Grandpa. We talked and talked, and then he got up and went inside. I called your mama to talk on the phone a while because I just enjoy talking with her so much. We were talking and I decided it was time to go to bed. I got up and walked across the porch to the door and, on the way, your mommy heard me yell and heard my phone hit the ground. I had tripped over the ottoman on the porch because I wasn't looking where I was going. I went flying! Actually, I don't really know WHAT happened because it all happened so fast, but I ended up on the floor with a couple of swollen knees. Grandpa came out to see what all the hubbub was about. He had heard the loud thud and thought the swing fell out of the ceiling. We went inside and put ice water bags on both my knees and there I sat for about a half hour. Dr. Pain (just one of the many names we have for your grandpa) came to visit in a little while. He put triple antibiotic and bandaids on both knees. Then I went to bed. While lying in bed, I got to thinking what an incredible blessing it was that you were not in my arms when I fell. Your picture on the front of my phone was ruined, but you were safe. I love you so much. You are just a little treasure to me.

I just can't help but love this little girl. She's growing up so fast!
